BUDDING young musical theatre enthusiasts have the chance to perform in Bugsy Malone thanks to a new theatre summer school.
The Towngate Theatre is hosting its first summer school for youngsters aged nine to 19 with the aim of putting on a production of the famous all-singing, all-dancing musical.
No auditions for the ensemble are required but there will be auditions for principal roles.
The summer school will run from Saturday, July 15 until Saturday, August 12. The summer school is £125 per place.
Shows will be held from Wednesday, August 9 until Saturday, August 12 with performances at 7.30pm and Thursday and Saturday matinees at 2.30pm.
