A HUSBAND has pleaded with his wife, who has been missing more more than 10 days, to get in touch.

Police are renewing an appeal for information to help find Patricia Finnie, 64, from Southend.

She had been to see a friend on May 11 and was last seen at around midday in the Southchurch area of the town.

Patricia’s husband, Gordon, has appealed for her to get in contact:

In his statement, he said: “Dear Pat, you’ve been missing for 10 days now and I’m deeply concerned for your wellbeing, as are your immediate family and friends who are all in great pain and missing you badly.

“There are also many others who have expressed concern at your disappearance and who are looking out for you with your best interests at heart.

“I’m desperately anxious to know that, at least, you are safe and well.

“If you read this, I urge you to contact your mother, me, or the police so that you may return safely to your family and work out any issues that may be troubling you.

“Love, Gordon.”

Patricia is described as white, 5ft 6ins tall, of medium build, with straight auburn-coloured hair. She also sometimes wears glasses.

The last time she was seen she was wearing a full-length quilted black coat with a hood, a pink top, navy trousers and black shoes.

She also has links to Scotland.

Officers and Patricia’s family are concerned for her welfare.

Anyone who may have seen her or has any information regarding her whereabouts is asked to contact Essex Police on 101.
