ACCOUNTANCY trainees have scooped three awards.
Southend-based accountancy firm Goldwyns Limited has seen trainees win three gongs in the Institute of Chartered Accountants for England and Wales Accountancy and Business Awards 2017.
At a ceremony hosted at Stock Brook Country Club, in Billericay, the three Goldwyns’ employees were commended in the professional and advanced stage examinations.
Chris Stannard achieved first place in the South Essex Society Order of Merit for the 2016 Professional Stage examinations. Ashley Ive was awarded second place in the Professional Stage examinations, and Ben Hockett achieved second place in the Advanced Stage examinations category. The awards were presented by Hilary Lindsay, president of the institute.
.Goldwyns director, Robert Howe, said: “I and the other directors and managers congratulate Chris, Ashley and Ben on their success. They have worked hard to achieve their exceptional marks.”
