A woman was cut free from her car after a crash involving three cars in Leigh.
The accident, which took place in Belton Way West, near the junction of Castle Drive, partially blocked the road.
Fire crews were called to the crash after it came to light that a woman was trapped in her car.
A spokesman for the fire service said: "On arrival firefighters reported that one female was trapped in her car and worked to remove the roof to release her.
"The casulty was left in the care of the Ambulance Service at 9.10am."
The ambulance service have been contacted for comment.
