A MAN has been charged with a string of offences, including possession of a knife, assaulting a police officer and aggravated burglary.
Brian Sole, 27, unemployed, of Griffin Avenue, Canvey, was charged with an aggravated burglary in Griffin Avenue, Canvey, on May 16 and a burglary in Brandenburg Road, Canvey, on May 18.
He was also charged with a theft on May 15 and sending a threatening text message on May 21.
He faces counts of possession of cocaine; possession of cannabis; possession of a knife in a public place; criminal damage; and assaulting a police officer, all relating to offences on May 30.
He is due to appear at Basildon Magistrates' Court today, Wednesday May 31.
