YOUNGSTERS at St Mary’s School got the chance to show off their skills with a range of musical instruments during a special half-term event.
The Church of England school, in Boston Avenue, Southend, took part in a Tuneful Tuesday event for children aged over seven.
They brought stringed instruments, wood wind, recorders, brass, percussion, keyboards, guitars and ukuleles to make music under the guidance of experienced tutors.
The children then performed in an informal concert at the end of the day for family and friends.
