Two people have been taken to hospital following a crash on the A13.
The incident happened at Bowers Gifford and all four lanes were blocked.
The East of England Ambulance Service sent two ambulance crews to assist.
There were two patients, although their ages and genders have not been recorded, and they have been taken to Basildon Hospital for further care.
They are not thought to be seriously injured.
There are long delays.
