AN MP joined in celebrations of a refugee who came to the UK in the aftermath of war.
On Saturday, Sir David Amess, MP for Southend West, joined members of Westcliff Synagogue for a kiddish celebration lunch to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Andrew Roth coming to the UK as a refugee. Following the regular Sabbath service in the morning, the MP joined in celebrations of Mr Roth’s escape from the conflict with him and his family and friends.
