A fourth person has been arrested in connection with a serious crash that left a woman with life-changing injuries.
Two motorbikes were in collision in Manorway, Corringham, at about 9.15pm on Wednesday, June 14.
One of the riders, a woman in her 20s, suffered a serious leg injury and had to have part of her leg amputated.
Two warrants were carried out on Friday and a 22 year-old man from Romford was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
He has since been released under investigation.
Three other people – a 17 year-old boy and two men aged 28 and 29 – have already been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and have also been released under investigation.
