TWO women died and a third is fighting for her life after a crash between a car and a van.
The incident happened in Lower Dunton Road, Stanford-le-Hope, shortly after 4.30pm on Monday.
A white van with two occupants collided with a silver Fiat Punto with three occupants inside.
Two women who were in the Fiat died at the scene. A third woman was taken to Addenbrooke's hospital in Cambridge and is in a critical condition.

The driver and passenger in the van, both men, were taken to Basildon hospital with minor injuries.
