Paramedics are on the scene of the A127 crash
MOTORISTS are facing four and a half miles of tailbacks after a three car smash on the A127.
The collision took place on the outside lane of the London-bound carriageway, close to the Basildon and Billericay, turn-off, at around 7pm.
Delays are continuing.
Emergency services, including an ambulance, are currently at the scene.
Police have closed one lane of the carriageway while they deal with the crash.
No details of injuries are currently available.
