Two innovative Chinese art exhibitions have come to Southend ready to be on display throughout August.
The Chinese Contemporary Intangible Culture Heritage Exhibition will be on display from 1 August until 13 August, at the Beecroft Gallery, followed by the Jiaodong Folk Window Paper Cutting Art Exhibition from 19 August until 1 September.
They are in association with the Jiangsu Art Foundation 2016 Funding Project.
Southend councillor for Culture, Tourism and the Economy, Ann Holland, said: “This proves yet again the growth of our town’s cultural scene in attracting world-class exhibits and gives local residents and visitors an opportunity to gain a unique insight into contemporary Chinese culture."
