A man was taken to hospital after a tree fell on him.
The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust received a call at just before 9am today to Codenham Straight, Basildon.
A rapid response vehicle and ambulance crew were dispatched to the scene.
They treated a man, believed to be in his 30s, who had been hit on the back and head by a falling tree.
He was taken to Basildon and Thurrock Hospital for further care.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
