Two children are have suffered serious injuries after being hit by a bus in Basildon this morning.
A boy and girl have been taken to Basildon Hospital but their injuries are not life threatening.
The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) received a call at just after 11.20am today to Basildon train station.
A rapid response vehicle, ambulance officer, two ambulance crews and Essex Air Ambulance were dispatched to reports of a bus colliding with two pedestrians outside the train station.
Officers are currently on the scene and investigations are ongoing.
One lane is closed and delays are expected in the area.
Any witnesses to the collision are asked to contact Essex Police on 101.
