The fun fair in Chalkwell Park, Southend, made a fantastic comeback on Thursday after it was cancelled last year.
Renamed as The Southend Mencap Music Man Project Fun Fair, the event continued to live up to its expectations of bringing much fun and delight to families.
The organiser, Don Drake Fair, is working together with charity organisation Southend Mencap to bring back the carnival.
Marc McOwens, Southend Mencap manager, said he was pleased with the turnout.
He said: “There has been no complaints with the weather.”
All proceeds will go to Mencap to support music learning for people with learning disabilities.
The fair will finish on Saturday August 19. Don’t miss out!
The event runs from 2pm to 10pm.
