Donations -
The Southend Blind Welfare Organisation is celebrating after £5,000 was donated to them by The Screwfix Foundation.
Catherine Hodgson, from the organisation, said: “We are very grateful to The Screwfix Foundation for donating these much needed funds to support our charity.”
“The funding will be used towards fitting fire alarms on every floor and installing the upper floor fire doors.
“We’d like to thank everyone who was involved in the fundraising – it’s been a great help to us.”
