A man has been talked down from the edge of a multi-storey car park by police.
Essex Police and British Transport Police attended the incident near to the Victoria Shopping Centre at about 8pm last night.
The British Transport Police said: "Yesterday 2 PCs saw a male on the edge of a Southend multi-storey.
"Working with Essex Police he was safely talked down and provided help."
