Two 16-year-old girls were subject to an attempted robbery by four men inside a vehicle.
The girls were walking across a car park on North road, Westcliff, at the Junction of London Road, around 7pm on Thursday, August 10, when a green car, believed to be a Vauxhall Corsa carrying four male passengers revved its engine.
The four men, described as being in their late teens and as being Chinese in appearance, demanded the girls empty their pockets.
The suspects drove off empty handed.
Police are now appealing for any information regarding the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call Dc Iain White at Southend CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
