A SWIMMING teacher is furious after her car’s wing mirrors were smashed for the third time.
The criminal damage to Leigh-Ann Ferrari-Smith’s car happened on Monday evening in Crown Road, Billericay.
The 21-year-old said that damage had been caused along the street previously.
She said: “It’s not the first time, it’s happened to me, my partner and our neighbour on multiple occasions.
“My partner parks his car on the road and around 10.30pm he went out to investigate and found both wing mirrors had been knocked off. He called the police but all they could do is give us a crime number because there’s no CCTV or witnesses to the incident.”
Leigh-Ann said that her car had been targeted three times, costing her more than £600 to have her mirrors replaced.
She said that her partner has also paid £300 to repair the damage to his vehicle.
She added: “It’s becoming a joke now, and very costly.
“There has been multiple cases down Crown Road.
“It’s not fair and it’s criminal damage, so why aren’t the police sorting it?”
Anyone with information about the criminal damage can call Essex Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously.
