Disabled children were treated to a day trip to London courtesy of c2c.
The train provider worked with Southend Toy Library to give the children a day out to Tower Bridge and the River Thames.
Southend Toy Library is a charity which provides children with various disabilities days out that they would not be able to go on without assistance.
Tracey Beck, from the Southend Toy Library, said: “We had another lovely gesture.
“C2c gave the Southend Toy Library, which is a charity that does holiday and outing schemes for disabled children, free travel for our day out to London.”
“We took 22 disabled children and their families to Tower Bridge and then on the boat along the River Thames.”
“We would like to thank c2c on behalf of all the families for such a lovely day.”
Th Southend Toy Library, which is located in Riviera Drive, Southend, has a JustGiving page where people can donate to their cause at justgiving.com/southendtoylibrary.
They have numerous fundraising campaigns on there.
