sheltered housing complex donates cash to group
A SHELTERED housing complex donated more than one hundred pounds to a community group.
Jackie Martin from Willalla House, Poplar Road, Canvey presented a donation of £225 after a cake day in aid of the Multiple Sclerosis Club of Canvey.
Peter May, Canvey Island Independent Party councillor for Canvey Island Central said it is really lovely that different groups are working with one another and the Sheltered Housing Complex are doing. Lot of fund raising events for the community.
Joyce Unthank of the MS Club Canvey Island said that they all support each other and meet once a fortnight and raise their own funds. She said the donation will help support the Club and thanked the Housing Complex for their kind donation.
