A TECHNICAL problem put a damper on Lee Mead's dream debut in Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

The show was halted after just six scenes on its opening night for about ten minutes due to "technical difficulties", the audience was told.

Fans were left waiting at the Adelphi Theatre in London's West End while the problem was sorted - thought to be an issue with the rotating floor.

However, Lee, from Southend, won rave reviews from the audience and critics after the show.
