A Benfleet primary school has celebrated receiving a good status in their latest Ofsted report.
Diana Mason, headteacher at Montgomerie Primary School, in Rushbottom Lane, was delighted with the outcome of the latest inspection.
She said: “At the beginning of July, Montgomerie Primary School had a two-day Ofsted inspection. The school had worked so hard to rapidly improve to produce an exciting, well-rounded and rich education for our pupils.
“We are proud of our school as are our whole school community. Ofsted confirmed for us what we already felt – Montgomerie is a good school!
“Our children, parents, staff and governors all contributed to this stunning result – it really was a team effort.
“Being given good in every single category of the report is something we are extremely proud of and is very well deserved.
“Montgomerie is such a special place and we are so happy that this has been recognised.”
