A 16-year-old boy has been charged after a man was stabbed in the leg.
Police were called to an address in Stagden Cross, Pitsea, at 4pm on Friday September 22.
The boy, from Basildon, has been charged with wounding with intent and possessing a knife in a public place and remains in police custody.
He is due to appear at Basildon Magistrates’ Court today.
The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
