A DRIVING instructor from Wickford has received a top honour from one of the country’s most respected driving organisations.
Tariq Musaji, 49, of London Road, Wickford has been given a fellowship from IAMRoadSmart, a road safety charity, for his safe driving and for keeping pace with the development of teaching.
He said: “I hope I am doing things to improve and the way I drive and I hope that I can push that on to my students.
“In terms of getting the fellowship, it is an honour and a privilege and it is something I am hoping take further.”
Tariq’s recognition has also come as a result of him moving with the times in terms of technology which has now become a major part of driving.
He added: “The tech is changing as well now and the systems.
“Some drivers do not understand it so it is important to educate them about that.”
