l THE MATCH: Following two disappointing years in the competition, Adam Flanagan’s Concord Rangers head into tomorrow’s match against Woking looking to reach the FA Cup first round for the first time as manager.

The Beach Boys have beaten teams in lower divisions in the past two rounds, but they now face the third best side in non-league football, according to the table.

Woking are among the early season contenders to win promotion to the Football League but, while Concord have struggled for form in the league, they are currently four matches unbeaten.

l THE INSIGHT: “The club has only been to the first round on one occasion, so to have a chance at equalling that is huge,” said Flanagan.

“The financial rewards adds something to the game and the players get to challenge themselves against full-time guys, which many of our players are aiming for.

"You then add a potential appearance on Match of the Day and you can see why it is exciting for everyone involved.

“I have been involved in some important matches but this is the biggest game so far and one I can’t wait to arrive.

“Woking will be an extremely tough fixture as they have real energy in the way they play and have some very talented players.

"They are currently in a rich vein of form having beaten Dagenham at the weekend. I believe (Woking boss) Anthony Limbrick will go on to be a Football League manager."

l THE TEAM NEWS: Ex-East Thurrock man Kane Ferdinand could start for Woking.
