Four fire trucks were at the scene of a fire today within a high-rise building in the Seabrooke Rise estate.
The incident, which occured on the eight floor of one of the buildings, happened in one flat, destroying a bedroom and causing smoke damage to the rest of the apartment.
One person suffered from smoke inhalation and was left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
The building's stay put policy was immediately implemented and firefighters worked hard to contain the fire to the flat's bedroom.
Crews extinguished the fire by 9.55am, before clearing the property of smoke using Positive Pressure Ventilation (PPV) fans.
The fire service had initially thought that the blaze was deliberate, however they later confirmed it was accidental.
