Basildon Council ran a hugely-successful Business Expo event.
The council, in partnership with Essex Chambers of Commerce, ran the Basildon Business Expo yesterday at Wat Tyler Community Park from 10am until 3pm.
The expo is the largest Basildon-based B2B exhibition of its kind. The expo focused on discussing the future of Basildon’s business scene and economy.
Guest speakers included Christian Brodie, chairman of South East Local Enterprise Partnership, Julian Drury from MD Trenitalia c2c, councillor Linda Allport-Hodge, chairman of the infrastructure, growth and development committee, and Jane Gardener, the deputy police and crime commissioner.
Exhibitors also had the opportunity to meet and greet new clients and business partners.
