CHRISTMAS has officially arrived at Barleylands.

The farm park, in Billericay, had hundreds of people attend its annual Christmas Fair, called Step into Christmas.

There were all the sights, sounds and smells of the festive season to enjoy.

Barleylands was brimming with additional stalls and seasonal treats from external exhibitors, as well as the usual craft stands.

Visitors could look around many boutiques, shops and craft studios where there were handmade gifts and bespoke items, a host of arts and crafts and beautiful decorations for the home.

Live music was provided by school choirs and singers in the courtyard.

Among those performing were Buttsbury Junior School Choir, Ellie Marie, Reverb Youth Choir, Genevieve Johnson, Sunnymede Junior School Choir and Chris Hobart.

Father Christmas was making visits throughout the day, with the chance for youngsters to tell him their Christmas wishes.

Proceeds went to the Essex Air Ambulance to help towards the running costs of the lifesaving charity.

Over the weekend, there was also a separate Prosecco Festival, organised by ProseccoUk in a tent in the grounds.

There was live music, street food and a whole host of new prosecco flavours to try.
