Media students from South Essex College have been working with Eco YouTube personality, Dave Erasmus, on a creative project.
The Level 3 broadcast media students visited Dave’s forest project called Corcovado to sample an off grid lifestyle.
Students Aaron Heanue and Ryan Dale produced different types of content as part of the class project, including videos and illustrations.
Aaron, 17, from Little Wakering, said: “I wanted my project to be about what makes a good life, you don’t need lots of data and you can be happy offline.”
Ryan, 17, from Wickford, said: “It was interesting to see his land in real life, it was so peaceful there. I could try to live like that for a little while, maybe a month.”
