A single decker bus crashed into traffic lights near the entrance to Southend Airport.
The Arriva number 9 bus, which was travelling to Shoebury, was driving on Eastwoodbury Crescent when it hit the pedestrian crossing at about 6pm on Friday evening (December 1).
Witnesses reported the bus swerved before the crash but it is unknown what caused it to happen.

No one is believed to have been hurt in the crash.
An Arriva spokesperson commented: "We can confirm that an Arriva bus was involved in an incident on Friday 1st December where it collided with a pedestrian crossing. There were no injuries sustained in this collision. At this stage, we are unable to provide any further comment as this is now part of a live internal investigation."
