A breakfast event marked the launch of a new initiative aiming to ensure young people are aware of all the opportunities available to them.
Basildon Council held an Education and Skills breakfast event to introduce the Pathways to Success initiative.
Basildon Council is establishing the Pathways to Success Panel to review the effectiveness of the what is available to young people in order to access opportunities in the borough and beyond.
The panel will investigate how schools, businesses and other partners work together to ensure young people are informed and aware of the opportunities to them and how to take advantage.
It will analyse evidence and collect ideas which will result in a series of recommendations in late spring.
