A Gift of Song concert will take place on Saturday, December 16 at St James the less Church, London Road, Hadleigh

A group of young singers, aged 16 – 27, will be performing their own Christmas Concert for the Friends of St James Church. The singers comprise Chorus Sirenum and the Southend Young Men’s Chorus.

All the singers are former or current members of the Southend Boys’ and Girls’ Choirs who are now performing in their own chamber choir groups.

The programme will include audience carols and popular Christmas music, with carols by John Rutter, Adolphe Adam, Britten, Bob Chilcott, and much more with well known carols such as “O Holy Night”, “De Virgin Mary” and many other much loved festive pieces.

The young singers are no strangers to local and London audiences, and all of them over the years have performed in London’s major concert halls and Churches.

The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets, which include mulled wine and minced pies, can be ordered from 01702 553263 or 01268 771779.
