Two people have been identified in connection with an incident where a shop worker was racially abused.
The incident happened at around 5.30pm on Friday December 8 at the Co-Op shop in Sutton Road, Southend.
A woman entered the shop and then racially abused a member after he requested identification from her daughter, who was attempting to buy cigarettes.
Police then received a report that the worker was again racially abused by another woman connected with the first suspect at around 10.10am on Sunday, December 10.
Two people are due to attend voluntary interviews.
