This selection of photographs shows an impressive range of pictures captured by our readers.

Pictures taken include and action shot of a duck taking flight at Southchurch Park in Southend captured by Julian Hyams and a serene image of a freight ship off the coast of Canvey, which was spotted by Mark Durrant.

Lorraine Bushell took a shot of an abandoned boat at North Fambridge Marina and Maggie Butler was inspired to snap Southend pier as the weather improved and the sun’s rays hit the sea.

Paul Edwards, Stephen King and Graham Mee also contributed with some scenic shots of rivers, woodland and the countryside.

All in all, there are some fantastic photographs posted in the Echo’s camera club Facebook group, proving our amateur photographers have an eye for stunning shots.
