Air ambulance lands after crash in Stanford-le-Hope
A serious accident is blocking London Road in Stanford-le-Hope.
The accident happened at around 8am.
The air ambulance has landed in the park on Runnymede Road.
Witnesses described seeing a young boy lying in the road who has believed to have been hit by a car.
The ambulance service was unable to confirm it was a child involved.
A spokesman said: "We were called to reports of a road traffic collision in London Road, Stanford Le Hope, this morning at 8.05am.
"One ambulance, an ambulance officer and the Essex and Herts air ambulance attended the scene. One patient was taken to hospital for further treatment."
