Two people have been arrested after the Police Operational Support Group were involved in a lengthy pursuit in Basildon last night.
The vehicle crashed, and two occupants decamped. Fortunately, the officers caught them, and both were arrested for dangerous driving and possession of Class A drugs.
Following the arrest officers discovered the driver was wanted for 19 offences of making off without payment and on warrant for failing to appear at court.
