OUR readers have been out and about with their cameras to capture the crisp colours created by the fresh winter sunshine.

This selection of snaps show a diverse range of images taken around south Essex by Echo readers over the weekend.

The pictures taken include a close up shot of a stunning king fisher, the inside of Hedingham Hall, sunset over Southend and a dog enjoying the beach.

Mandy Austin has taken a delicate photograph of daffodils blossoming in Prittlewell and Lee Johnson captured an innocent image of his dog Penny playing on the beach at Leigh-on-Sea.

Madeleine Van Wijk captured Southend Pier in all its glory on a bright winters day and Mick Tanner has taken advantage of the orange skies above Southend when the sun was setting.

Carla Doodes has captured colourful beach huts lined up near South Church and Christopher Drew has made Southend glow with colour at night.

The camera club gives our readers a brilliant opportunity to share pictures they have taken around the local area and share their photography tips with each other.

It is a great way for people to show off photographs, ask questions and get inspiration for where to visit around south Essex at the weekend or on a day off from work.
