Rebecca Harris has thrown her support behind this week’s National Apprenticeship Week and called for businesses in Castle Point to consider employing an apprentice.
The MP for Castle Point said: “Apprenticeships really do work. They are life-changing for those who undertake them, providing a unique opportunity to earn a salary whilst learning a new skill. They are also transformational for business, creating loyalty and allowing for the creation of a bespoke, skilled workforce.
“I was delighted to have the opportunity during National Apprenticeship Week to hear from apprentices and employers alike about the huge benefits that apprenticeships have brought to their businesses. I would encourage employers across Castle Point to consider the transformational impact that employing an apprentice could have upon their business.”
