An 18-year-old was stabbed during a fight outside Westcliff railway station.
Police were contacted at 2.10am this morning, with reports a group of men were fighting in station road.
The men ran off and are believed to have left the scene in taxis.
Officers found an 18-year-old man with multiple stab wounds at the junction of Hamlet Court Road and Canewdon Road.
He was taken to hospital with injuries that were not life threatening.
It is believed this was an isolated incident.
Enquiries are ongoing and witnesses or anyone with information about those responsible are asked to contact Southend CID on 101 quoting incident number 107 of March 11.
