The ferry which transports passengers from Tilbury from Gravesend is out of action after the engine packed up.
The Thames Swift vessel has undergone engine repairs in recent days but it has now become beyond repair and needs to be replaced.
JetStream Tours has deployed a temporary ferry called Jacob Marley, but it too was damaged after a pontoon broke free from its mooring upriver, drifted down on the tide and hit the vessel.
On Wednesday, March 13, Jetstream Tours notified their customers of the cancelled ferry trips.
A bus replacement is in place between Tilbury and Gravesend.
