ECHOSPORT takes a closer look at tomorrow’s opponents with the help of Rotherham United supporter Chris Saxon.

What have you made of the season so far?

“After the trials and tribulations of last season’s relegation from the Championship, I think that one word to sum up this campaign so far would be enjoyable.

“Our lack of resources, in the main financial ones, meant that we were simply unable to compete in what has become a monied league second only to the Premiership. Here we are back in League One and actually doing quite well.”

What are your hopes for the rest of the season?

“Most fans would have been happy with consolidation and a mid table finish, yet we are challenging for a play off place, that’s success in my book!

“Having done the hard work in reaching the top six, I’d be disappointed if we faltered at this late stage, so a play off place would be a perfect finish for us. Who knows, a trip to Wembley, might be on the cards?”

Who is the dangerman?

“We have a fairly potent attack, new signing Michael Smith, discarded by Bury and a few other clubs, has been a revelation and is proving a real handful for defences. Alongside him is David Ball, a great signing from Fleetwood.”

What’s the team news?

“Team news is that apart from a couple of long term injuries, we have everyone available after the win at Northampton last weekend.”

What’s the predicted starting line up?

Rodak, Mattock, Ajayi, Vaulks, Emmanuel,Williams, Palmer, Towell, Taylor, Smith, Ball.
