AN author has paid a visit to Year 12 students at Westcliff High School for Boys.
Syd Moore, a best-selling novelist, spent time with the young enterprise team Arora at the school which has launched a new business venture of a story book specifically aimed at infant school children with, or aware of, children with special educational needs.
Syd spent the afternoon discussing the publishing process and how the students can take the vital next steps in publishing their own work.
Syd said: βIt was lovely to meet a bunch of teenage boys with not only a good eye on commercial enterprise but a commitment to kids not as able as themselves.β
If you can help the students with funding their project send an e-mail to wellern@whsb.essex.sch.uk
