A GROUP of students celebrated completing a 12-week programme to improve confidence, motivation and skills for work.
The Prince’s Trust Team Programme, which is run in Basildon, is delivered in partnership with Seevic College.
The celebratory event, held at the college in Runnymede Chase, Benfleet, saw the students complete a speech regarding their journey on the course.
They also received words of advice from their team leader, the mayor of Castle Point and the Prince’s Trust programme manager.
All the students were presented with their official certificates as well as fun certificates such as Everyone’s Best Friend, The Story Teller and Miss Mellow. Family members and friends helped celebrate the students’ achievement by attending the evening.
Jordan Hayzer, 20, of Basildon, who completed work experience at Poundland said: “I came out of my shell, became a leader figure and managed to get into full time work.”
