The fundraising team at St Luke’s Hospice are looking for “fun loving” people willing to volunteer and offer their help at hospice events and in their office.
On Thursday, May 17, the hospice fundraising team is holding an open event from 3pm to 7pm at their base at Astra House Christy Way, Southfields Business Park, Basildon.
Members of the public are invited to pop-in to meet the team for a friendly chat and find out more about how they can get involved. Hospice fundraiser Joanne Phillips said: “Fundraising is very rewarding and can also be a great deal of fun. There is a wonderful comradery in getting together, being part of the team, making new friends, learning new skills and knowing you have helped others.” Call 01268 524973.
