Talented Echo readers have been busy capturing the beauty of spring around the county’s countryside.

Following the launch of the Echo Camera Club, almost a thousand members have shared hundreds of pictures each month of the county’s numerous country parks, riverside walks, and coastal paths, as well as its towns and infrastructure.

The club has been so successful its members have now begun organising social meetings and photography workshops, where budding photographers can learn new skills from more experienced colleagues.

Sessions are held in a wide range of skills with recent examples including a London trip to practice street photography, to capturing the movements of harvest mice.

Recently photographers, both amateur and professional, have been taking some time out so celebrate the diverse range of new life emerging in the springtime, from young wildlife to budding gardens.

Over the past few weeks photographers have submitted a huge variety of images, from sunsets over our coastlines, to young animals emerging for the first time, to crops developing.

Talented artists of all abilities submit to the group, whether pictures have been taken with a high-end camera or a mobile phone.
