Man charged with GBH with intent after assault
A MAN has been charged after two man were assaulted with a snooker cue.
Desmond Dube, 29, of Station Road, Westcliff, was charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and actual bodily harm when he was presented before Basildon Magistrates’ Court.
Dube was arrested and charged after a reports of an assault in Hamlet Court Road in Westcliff.
The reported incident which took place at around 3.05am in October 2016 saw two men were struck around the head with the cue, following an argument.
Bude is set to appear at Basildon Crown Court on Tuesday June 26 for trial.
