Police cordon in place after reports of 'stabbing' in town centre
Police a guarding a cordon after reports of a stabbing in Southend in the early hours this morning.
The cordon is in place at the corner of Kenway and Vale Avenue, Southend and witnesses claim it has been there since 2am this morning when arguing and screaming could be heard.
Within the cordon, which is being guarded by two police cars, are two push bikes which witnesses claim are involved in the incident.
Essex Police and the East of England Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
