GRAB your blankets and comfy seats and head for the beautiful setting of the RHS Hyde Hall Gardens this Saturday for an evening of open air Rock 'n' Roll.

The stunning gardens in Rettendon, near Chelmsford, will be welcoming back nostalgic fifties band The Bluejays, following a sold-out show at the venue in 2015.

Billed as the UK’s number one vintage rock ‘n’ roll band The Bluejays features stars of West End shows including Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story, Million Dollar Quartet and Dreamboats & Petticoats.

The Bluejays promise to take the audience on a jiving journey through the fabulous fifties. Slip on your blue suede shoes and rock around the clock (well... until 10pm) to the biggest hits of Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, The Everly Brothers, Cliff Richard and more.

The Bluejays are considered one of the best vintage rock 'n' roll bands on the scene. The group formed in 2013, after years of performing together in West End rock ‘n’ roll theatre shows.

The award-winning band created the show Rock and Roll Revolution which is touring UK theatres throughout 2018.

Last year they were even flown out to Lubbock, Texas to play for members of Buddy Holly's family.

The Hyde Hall concert will take place outside by the lake, so bring along your seats and blankets. Hot food and drinks will be available to buy on the night.

Tickets cost £18 for adults, £8 for children and are available by calling 020 3176 5830.
