Accident partially blocking Basildon road
An accident in partially blocking Southmayne, in Basildon.
The incident has occurred on the northbound carriageway between the A13 and Broadmayne.
It is not known how many vehicles are involved.
A spokesman from the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 8.35am today (28th June) to reports of a three-vehicle road traffic collision on the A132 SouthMayne, involving a car, lorry and a motorbike.
"An ambulance crew and an ambulance officer were sent to help.
"One patient was treated at the scene and taken to Basildon & Thurrock Hospital for further care.”
